Privacy in the Crowd
12 October 2012
“It is really a smart choice, peaceful feeling hotel in downtown area.” When I mentioned the hotel name to the taxi driver in Singapore Changi Airport, his answer made me smile. Since both convenience and privacy are something I always chase for during business travel, Traders Hotel is my favorite choice.
Traders Hotel, Singapore, sites in a prime location along Singapore’s famous Orchard Road. After I got refreshed up in Club Lounge, I walked through Orchard Road. The central shopping area was concentrated on this major tourist attraction. Most malls carried the concept of "Everything under one roof". I saw, bought, ate and drank in the crowd.
After Orchard Road visit, Gardens by the Bay was my next destination due to the recommendation by tour desk of the hotel. Over there, I was fully impressed that the entire city is like being seated in the middle of one floral garden. I took in a panoramic view of the gardens via an aerial walkway. The walkway, which linked the artificial Supertrees, was suspended 22 metres above the ground, about seven-storey high. I took the photo indicating Supertrees turning the dark sky into romantic mid-night blue. I saw, felt in the peace.
Traders Hotel, gives me the comforts, service, and home-like experience. But more important, is the privacy in the crowd – just like the Garden by the Bay.
