Bula, Welcome Home <3

Being a father of 4 and with a child with a disability you would think traveling overseas might be expensive and hard. Well in 2010 my wife and I decided to "give it a go" as us Aussies say. Well let me share this with you, we did a lot of research first on the areas, country's and resorts. Then we choose The Shangri-la Fijian Resort and Spa because it ticked all the boxes. We were looking for a little luxury, crystal Blue waters, beach, Fishing, snorkeling , fine foods, night time entertainment , warm weather, kid friendly
, activities and room to move. What a fantastic choice it was, in fact we now visit the resort over 12 times per year. Yes I know it sounds a lot but it's just like having a second home a short skip and jump over the pacific. The Shangrila Fijian consistently win awards for top family Holidays. I can see why.. It's safe, clean, friendly and really is a tropical paradise. The staff are more like family, they remember guests names that may have been once or many times, new guests can't help but feeling like staff have known them just as long because hospitality is unbelievable. Traveling with a young family and also a disabled child the resort is so accommodating it has to be seen to believe. From special meals made for our son to meet his needs to the older kids honestly don't want to know mum and dad because there is so much to do. The resort has allowed my wife and I to enjoy romantic beach dinners, fine dinning, chi spa relaxation and totally to unwind knowing our kids are happy and safe. Meeting locals has been fun, as you can see by the picture my disabled son in a local Sunday school having a great time, Fiji is just so friendly and the Shangrila gives you that nice touch of style, clean and comfort to end a perfect day. I would give the Shangrila Fijian a 10/10 for any family as possibly one of the worlds best resorts offering some thing for every member of the family.
