"After dark window view @ the Shang ...foot print palace"
14 October 2013
Having traveled to Hong Kong "several times" in September during "Typhoon Season " can be exhausting and not to mention I am accident prone and twisted my ankle x2. luckily, nothing broken thus far,.. ice ice babe and transparency through my window with my foot uploaded to elevate the swelling helps.
I cannot imagine why people would be curious enough to look into the ocean waves tho at least they did not turn their backs to "Mother Nature?"
I, on the other hand, enjoyed myself relaxing safely under the shade of my Kowloon Shangri-La
Oasis after a rough day out with rain and debris falling all over the isle and luckily, none landed on my head!
As far as dining, try the Shang palace down at the basement with foodies 1088 which ironically, are to die for!
Furthermore, here is my "trip advisor" write up for a detailed addendum presentation to my article;

A truly most memorable dining experience in a very posh Shang!
As the Typhoon warning was in full force, we decided to meet at the Shang for some awesome dining with tons of choices to dine as well as having an extensive choices of teas.
My dinner companion did not make dinner as the typhoon hit North Point first hand in Hong Kong Isle; hence, I am in luck as I was assisted with choosing a menu from a chef specialty choice #1088 by a very nice young Man:...Mr. C. Yuen. He was quite attentive, discreet and just a pleasure to have chatted with him throughout the course of my meals.
The course starred: ....with a lobster oatmeal, delish...pumpkin ..wagyu beef, cod fish, rice soup scallop, and the 3 desserts comes with a surprise petit four or, I counted 8 of them ..more like a serving of tea time! Ha!
Surprisingly, I managed to devour them all tho I was perfectly full and content with the most delicious meal of the night as this was a "perfect number!"
Met a couple from Britt on their honeymoon during dinner for some company was the highlight to a perfect end to a delicious meal tho they did try to share their wine as well as their desert plate tiaras; perhaps...next time!
