A culinary adventure for Golden Circle members
At sunset on 20 November 2013, Shangri-La’s top Golden Circle members and their partners enjoyed a culinary adventure at Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney. The hotel’s fine dining establishment, Altitude Restaurant, is perched on the 36th level overlooking Sydney Harbour, where Chef de Cuisine Matthew McCool makes gourmand magic happen.
Together with four other head chefs from Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney, including Executive Chef Steven Krasicki, the team presented a five-course dinner with a dish created by each chef paired with Australian wines selected by the restaurant’s chief sommelier. The offerings featured specialised techniques, such as a reverse-cooked quail yolk, salmon floss and homemade yoghurt parfait. After dinner, the general manager invited guests to visit the hotel rooftop to take in stunning views of Sydney Harbour.
