Michelin dinner at Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, Taipei
Extraordinary dining experiences are just one of the great advantages of Golden Circle membership, and the exquisite six-course wine pairing dinner at Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, Taipei on 20 July 2012 was a perfect example.
Guest chef Mok Kit Keung, Executive Chinese Chef of the Michelin two-star Shang Palace at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong, created a sumptuous dinner in Taipei for the first time, drawing upon his 35 years of culinary experience. For the special occasion, Chef Mok showcased an array of unique dishes capturing quintessential Cantonese cuisine presented in an innovative, contemporary way.
Diners were thrilled with the superb culinary experience, complimenting Chef Mok on his delicious masterpieces and requesting to have photos taken with him. The images were emailed to guests as a souvenir of the night, and guests also took home a special keepsake of Shang Palace’s popular liuli glass chopstick holders.
