Golden Circle nominated in Freddie Awards
The Freddie Awards have been recognised as the preeminent honour for frequent travel programmes since 1988. Each year, frequent travellers recognise the best international programmes, and Golden Circle was nominated in five Middle East, Asia and Oceania categories, including Best Promotion for Earning, Best Redemption Ability, Best Customer Service, Best Elite Program and Program of the Year.
Revamped in October 2010, Golden Circle includes a points reward programme, allowing members to redeem GC Award Points for airline miles, free stays and upgrades. Jade and Diamond members can earn a bonus of 25 and 50 per cent more Golden Circle Award Points respectively on all qualifying spending. Last summer, Shangri-La was the first international hotel group to run a promotion enabling members to earn double qualifying nights towards the next tier level, together with double points for non-stay transactions. This allows members to advance to the higher tier faster. Golden Circle Member Services operates 24/7, the team speaks eight languages – English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, French, German and Arabic – and it aims to provide the most convenient and dedicated service.
Polls for the Freddie Awards are open until 31 March 2012. We’re calling on frequent travellers to make their voices heard. Please cast your vote for Golden Circle. Vote now at http://www.freddieawards.com/
