China World Summit Wing, Beijing opens Chinese restaurant The Red Chamber
The Red Chamber, the latest culinary addition to Beijing’s gourmet scene, opened at China World Summit Wing, Beijing, part of the Chinese capital’s iconic China World Tower. A contemporary restaurant specialising in the regional cuisines of Guangdong, Huaiyang, Sichuan and Beijing, the culinary team hail exclusively from these four areas. Led by Chef Andy Zhu, the innovative, quality restaurant is destined to become Beijing institution.
Open for lunch and dinner, The Red Chamber offers à la carte dining, regional set menus, tailor-made menus and dim sum. Signature regional dishes range from the traditional Cantonese barbecue to sea cucumber double-boiled with truffle and mushroom and fresh abalone braised with chicken. The wine selection includes those from China World Summit Wing, Beijing’s master list, featuring local vintages and an extensive range of mao-tai aged for up to 50 years.
A highlight is the innovative Noodle Bar, which provides an upmarket interpretation of fast, casual dining, in a convenient, relaxed ambience.
